Beakadoo Bergitta

In a magical forest, where the breeze whispers secrets to the trees and the sun plays hide-and-seek with the clouds, lives a most extraordinary knitted bird—Beakadoo Bergitta. She is a tiny, fluffy wonder, soft green like the first leaves of spring.

Her round, felted eyes move in different directions, always noticing the smallest wonders of the world. Her little beak is ready for friendly chatter, and her ruffled wings dream of new adventures.

And there’s even more magic in her legs! Long and string-like, with funny little knots at the knees, they can stretch and retract, as if they have a mind of their own, swinging playfully back and forth.

Beakadoo Bergitta was made to bring warmth, joy, and a reminder that the world is full of wonders—if you just look at it with lightness and a smile!

Handmade. One of a kind. Knitted with love and a touch of magic.

The bird can sit. It does especially well sitting on a raised surface, letting its string-like legs dangle freely. The legs can extend and retract up to the knees. Its eyes can rotate around their axis independently of each other.

With frequent use and washing, the filling may decrease in volume.
Washing is not recommended due to the presence of felted elements in the toy.

Body and wings: 50% Merino Wool, 50% Polyamide.
Legs and beak: 83% Viscose, 17% Lurex.
Eyes: 100% Wool.
Filling: Synthetic fiberfill.

Washing is not recommended due to the presence of felted elements in the toy.

If heavily soiled:

  • Hand wash only at a temperature no higher than 30ºC.
  • Fill a sink or basin with water of the appropriate temperature.
  • Add a small amount of liquid detergent (if you don’t have a special detergent, you can use shampoo).
  • Submerge your little friend in the water, gently pressing out air bubbles so it is fully soaked.
  • Carefully squeeze and press it a little—be especially gentle with the eyes, as they may lose their shape.
  • Drain the washing water and refill with clean rinsing water (if your detergent requires rinsing). Let your friend bathe in the clear water.
  • Gently lift it out of the water, place it in a clean towel, and remove excess moisture with light presses. Again, be especially careful with the eyes.
  • Lay your friend on a dry cloth and place it on a flat, warm surface (sunlight in summer or near a heating source in other seasons) to air dry. Shape it as needed.
  • Once dry, you can carefully fluff it up using a pet grooming brush with short, gentle strokes.
