Capybara Varvara

Handmade Capybara Varvara is a soft, gentle plush toy made for play and cuddles.

She is hand-knitted from very soft, safe yarn, while her nose and paws are carefully needle-felted from wool. This combination gives her a unique texture and an expressive character.

She is incredibly soft, perfectly sized, and truly made to be held. Capybara Varvara is not just a decorative piece, but a real companion — ready for cuddles, little adventures, and quiet moments.

Whether she’s sitting by your side or resting in your hands, she brings warmth, comfort, and a sense of calm. Hugging her feels like hugging a little cloud with paws.

No rush. Ever. 🐾

Washing is not recommended due to the presence of felted elements in the toy.

If heavily soiled:

  • Hand wash only at a temperature no higher than 30ºC.
  • Fill a sink or basin with water of the appropriate temperature.
  • Add a small amount of liquid detergent (if you don’t have a special detergent, you can use shampoo).
  • Submerge your little friend in the water, gently pressing out air bubbles so it is fully soaked.
  • Carefully squeeze and press it a little—be especially gentle with the eyes, as they may lose their shape.
  • Drain the washing water and refill with clean rinsing water (if your detergent requires rinsing). Let your friend bathe in the clear water.
  • Gently lift it out of the water, place it in a clean towel, and remove excess moisture with light presses. Again, be especially careful with the eyes.
  • Lay your friend on a dry cloth and place it on a flat, warm surface (sunlight in summer or near a heating source in other seasons) to air dry. Shape it as needed.
  • Once dry, you can carefully fluff it up using a pet grooming brush with short, gentle strokes.
