ENGLISH

Half-a-Cat is a playful and slightly mischievous creature who has chosen a very unusual place to live — your fridge.

Only the back half of the cat can be seen from the outside: two little legs and a tail sticking out of the refrigerator door. The rest of him has mysteriously disappeared inside, as if he quietly climbed in while no one was looking.

One of the special features of this project is the tail. You can knit it flexible, inserting a wire frame so it can curl and point in any direction. Or you can make a soft, floppy tail that hangs down in a funny and relaxed way.

The magnet base can also be made in two different ways: you can knit it as part of the project, or create it from felt and sew it inside.

The knitting pattern Half-a-Cat Magnet is moderately challenging for those unfamiliar with some of the techniques used, skill level: 4 out of 5 – upper intermediate, but it is so detailed that you will absolutely succeed.

Do you enjoy detailed, classic written instructions with illustrations? — Knit at a relaxed pace using the step-by-step written pattern.
Prefer to learn through videos and knit as if alongside me? — Follow the video tutorials throughout the entire process.
Or perhaps you are an experienced knitter who values clarity and conciseness? — Use the row-by-row tables with brief instructions.
This pattern offers a comfortable format for everyone!

Half-a-Cat can become a charming kitchen companion, a quirky handmade gift, or simply your own personal cat — the one whose front half is permanently busy inside the fridge.

And the best part?
You don’t need to feed him, worry about scratched furniture, or clean a litter box.

No litter tray required.
Just a fridge…
and Half-a-Cat.

And every time you walk past the fridge, you can’t help but smile.
